An analysis of radiosonde data has contradicted suggestions that global warming of the atmosphere has slowed in recent decades. The study, performed by scientists in Australia, suggests that earlier predictions of climate models have mostly been correct.
While observations have shown that the Earth’s surface has warmed almost one degree over the past century, there has been more uncertainty about the temperature of the atmosphere.
